The Four Horsemen is a re-imagining of the apocalyptic riders as representations of ecological disasters in a series of four digital paintings. These are not the skeletal harbingers of destruction, but human characters caught in a fantasy world. Individually they are: the Conquest of land through environmental degradation, the War of invasive species, the Famine of natural resources through mass consumption, and Death in global warming, nature's attempt to restore balance after human interference.
